Carthage College is located right by Lake Michigan so that in and of itself makes Carthage College such a beautiful place to live. You can go out anytime to listen to the sound of the waves or to view sunrises and sunsets with a group of friends.
Not only do we have this beautiful lake on our back porch, but we also have a river running through the campus. And we have an arboretum. The trees in the fall when the colors turn are absolutely gorgeous.
Carthage College is located within an hour's drive of two major cities Milwaukee and Chicago. For students, it gives them wider opportunities to obtain jobs, conferences, and internships. There are also around 27, museums, galleries, and theaters located within miles of Carthage College that students can explore in their free time.
Downtown Kenosha is really close to campus. Some of my favorite things to do around town, it's probably involving like their restaurants or the Harbor Market. So it's really nice like just to walk around.
I'm from Brazil. So I'm an international student here at Carthage. For me, it was really like different being so like so away from home, but I think that I love everything about it. I love being so close to the lake like now I have a room with a lake bill and like I love that.
